Behind the Silver Screen

A Night of Glamour, Desire, and Cinematic Devotion

February 13, 2026 — Friday the 13th | The Pearl on Main
21+ | Doors at 8 PM | Revelry Until 2 AM
No outside drinks | Food welcome

Beneath the glow of marquee lights and the hush before the curtain rises,
on Friday the 13th, a romance returns. Not quiet. Not small. Magnificent.

For one night only, superstition becomes seduction.
The world sharpens into black and white,
desire flickers like silver nitrate,
and every soul who enters becomes the star of their own unforgettable scene.

🌙✨🎬 Welcome to Behind the Silver Screen 🎬✨🌙

An immersive cinematic celebration of glamour, longing, devotion, and love in all its epic forms, set inside a historic silver-screen hall first opened in 1918, where generations once gathered to dream together in the glow of moving light.

Inspired by the golden age of Hollywood and the mythic romance of the movies, Behind the Silver Screen invites you into a living film. One that does not unfold on a distant screen, but places you center stage, exactly where audiences once sat in awe and wonder.

This is a night devoted to:

  • The romance you have with yourself
  • The devotion forged through epic friendships
  • The electric spark of strangers brushing hands
  • The quiet hero standing alone under the lights
  • The wind-swept kiss, the knowing glance, the scene that lingers long after the credits roll

Whether you arrive arm-in-arm, hand-in-hand, or gloriously on your own,
you are already perfectly cast.

As the clock slips past midnight, superstition softens into devotion. The night quietly becomes Valentine’s Day.

The Silver Stage: Icons Come to Life

At the heart of the evening stands the Silver Stage, where cinematic archetypes step out of celluloid and into the room. Each performance is a love letter to classic film, theatrical romance, and timeless allure.

🎬 Featuring immersive cinematic embodiments and performances throughout the night:

  • Charlie Chaplin — Paul “Styxx” Clark
  • The Swashbucklers — Jakob & Nate Jennings
  • Singing in the Rain — Whimsy + Special Guest
  • A Parisian Mime — Amethyst Winter Sky

  • Dracula Himself — Brad Williams

and more moments of movement, mischief, and magic woven seamlessly into the night.

A Soundtrack Worthy of the Stars

Music drifts through the evening like a perfectly scored romance—seductive, dramatic, playful, and triumphant.

🎧 Guiding the night’s emotional arc:

  • Bootlegg — Vintage swagger & cinematic heat
  • Lior Ross-Levy — Pulse and movement, evoking swords and sandals
  • Feral Wills — Shadowed rhythms and late-night full body surrender

From sweeping romance to after-hours intensity, the music moves you from scene to scene without ever breaking the spell.

Immersive Installations & Cinematic Worlds

Beyond the stage, the night unfolds into richly imagined spaces—each one a world of its own, inviting exploration, reflection, and delight.

🎨 Featuring immersive environments and visual wonder:

  • Frames of Wonder — Nick Marucci
  • Filmic Art From History with Cinemaster — Gerry Fralick
  • The Divination Room — The Coven
  • Movie Star Dress-up — Maekshift
  • Liquid Light & Visuals — Kell B
  • Original Creations from our Featured Artist — Britta Baker

These are not backdrops—they are settings, alive with texture, light, and story.

Wandering Characters & Living Cinema

Not all magic announces itself. Some of it finds you when you least expect it.

Throughout the night, you may encounter:

  • 🎞️ Silent film-style encounters and roaming characters
  • 🧛‍♂️ Immoral Immortal Advice
  • ✍️ Typewriter poetry and whispered words
  • 🔮 Tarot and intuitive moments
  • 💋 Fleeting flirtations and knowing glances
  • 🪞 Quiet corners for reflection and reverie
  • 📸 Cinematic photography capturing you mid-scene

Every hallway is a set. Every moment, a potential masterpiece.

A Night Devoted to Love in All Its Forms

Behind the Silver Screen is not about finding something missing.
It is about honoring what already lives within you.

It is a celebration of devotion—to yourself, to your chosen people, to beauty, to desire, and to the stories that shape us and the ones we dare to write next.

Are you the main character in your own story?
Do you romance your friendships, yourself, or your lover(s)?

This is a love story without a single ending.

We gather on the edge of dates and meaning,
where luck, longing, and love blur together.

What begins as a charged, cinematic night of fate

blooms, scene by scene, into Valentine’s Day.

🎩 Dress Code: Cinematic Glamour Encouraged

The world is black, white, silver, and shadow.

We invite you to dress as though you’ve stepped out of a classic film
not as a costume, but as your most iconic self.

🎞️ Suggested styles:

  • Old Hollywood Glamour — Gowns, tuxedos, silk gloves, red lipstick, sculpted hair, polished shoes
  • Cinematic Archetypes — Vampires, swashbucklers, silent film stars, Sword & Sandal Stars, muses, villains, heroes
  • Romantic Accents — Roses, scarves, lace, suspenders, velvet, a single dramatic detail

We are proud to partner with locally produced Soulfire Kanna Social Elixir (@drinksoulfire) — a thoughtfully crafted social tonic for presence, connection, and embodied joy.

Embrace the you that’s actually here.

Soulfire is an alternative adaptogenic elixir made with synergistic ingredients including Kanna, an African succulent traditionally used to support elevated mood, openness, and emotional ease. Many experience kanna as gently heart-opening and grounding — a softening of social edges, an ease into conversation, and a feeling of being more yourself in the moment.

It can be enjoyed on its own or paired intentionally with other indulgences, enhancing the experience without overwhelming it — subtle, supportive, and attuned to the rhythm of the night.

At Behind the Silver Screen, we partner only with artistically inclined, locally grown brands who share our values: presence over pretense, craft over mass production, and experiences designed to deepen connection rather than distract from it.

Soulfire isn’t just something you drink —
it’s part of the atmosphere.

A quiet ally in a night devoted to lives worth filming.
