This December 5th, 2026, Year of the Fire Horse, Madazon Can-Can is saying goodbye to their program, “Can-Can Cabaret”, a 3-month Burlesque Training intensive started in 2020. There have been 12 classes, over 100 students across 5 different venues throughout the Salt Lake Valley. To say that it is bittersweet is an understatement, but they could not have had a better class to send off their program this year for the “Final Curtain.” Please Welcome…

A sister, you may recognize her in yourself. Quiet, demure and veiled until one glance across the pulpit allows you access to the realms lurking beneath the habits that we don. She is desire incarnate, lust embodied and isn’t afraid to remind you to pray.

Medusa visits the stage regularly these days as she continues to beautify the aspects of the Dark Feminine society has consistently silenced. She will hiss and piss you off, but is moisturized and unbothered as she slinks into her self-care and reminds you not all Monsters are bad.

A red dress and a voice of honey that will transport you across time and space, reminding that each person who decides to participate in the Art of Burlesque does so as a political statement. To unveil the truth of our bodies, our hearts and our souls is revolutionary. Marching to the beat of her own drum, she will continue to fight off anyone who claims ownership of the Art of performance.

An ethereal memory, almost like you’ve seen them before. Lounging in a sheer nightie and having just finished her very last cigarette…for forever. Their sleepy dreamy eyes and cherry lips sigh in ecstasy as they take you into the experience of red lights and long lounges, heart-shaped beds and heartache. They may just eat you alive.

Where the Hell is her husband? You’ll have to come to the show to find out. Dripping in riches and satin, this performer will have you in stitches (literally) if she finds out you have a fortune in your britches.

and of course… A Soul-dier with a deep love of play. Dressed in Olive drab and Neon, this year Madazon is going back to their roots because after all the years of letting people do whatever the Hell they want…it is their turn to turn the page and do the same. They unearthed their yo-yo and they most certainly glow in the dark.

As with every Can-Can Cabaret, features from previous classes will be joining the show. There will be three announcements over the month of November on who will be joining this year’s cast. Spoiler alert…they’ve been WERKING.

Madazon wants to thank every single student, audience member, venue owner, stage tech, stage hand, willing aid, kitten, friend and lover that has been there along the way. They are finally ready to release this portion of their life and move into other journeys that are calling their name. They have always been a space maker, rabble rouser, game changer, radical weirdo, teacher and creature of resilience. May it always be so.
